I’ve worked as an instructional designer and technical trainer since 2007, beginning with the development of Apple’s onboarding program for retail employees. Since then, I’ve designed and delivered dozens of trainings, primarily focused on technical processes for adult learners — often those with little or no prior technical experience. My work is grounded in the ADDIE and SAM instructional design models.
In addition to instructional design, I create a range of supporting materials such as job aids, presentations, guides, and tutorial videos — drawing on my background as a videographer and editor. I often both design and deliver these trainings, and to date, I’ve worked with approximately 10,000 to 11,000 unique adult learners.
Further Samples of my training and instructional design materials are available on request. I am unable to share most of these materials publicly as they contain potentially sensitive, internal facing corporate data. Please contact me at joshuacornelius [at] mac [dot] com for a preview of these materials.
